Day 35~The Long Goodbye

 

I could hear crying coming from the living room, and that is where I found Percy with a very sweet note that he had written for Robert.  He does not want to leave Robert, but knows he will be back next year to watch and help him be a good boy for mom and dad!

Day 34~Strapped In With No Where To Go!

 

It is almost time for Percy to leave, and I think this is his way of telling us that he is not ready to go.  I found him strapped into Robert's carseat, and when I told him to get out, he said no in his best Robert voice.  I hate to see him go, but Santa i going to need him back at the North Pole soon!

Day 33~Christmas Cookies

 

We finished baking our Christmas cookies, and before I could get the lid on, Percy was already checking them out! I turned to grab the lid to keep him out and that quickly, he was sitting in the tub with a cookie on his lap!  Silly little elf!!!!

Day 31~Percy for President!

 

Woke up this morning to find Percy in our Presidential Ornament tree, and he was looking mighty candidate like.  I think he is considering a run for president, and in all reality, I think I would vote for him with his promises of more snow, Merrier Christmas's, and Peace on Earth!

Day 30~I'm So Pretty

 

Coming downstairs to go to the bathroom, I hear someone singing "I'm so pretty, oh, so pretty" and sure enough as I open the door I see Percy.  He was singing to himself as he looked longly at his reflection.  I think he misses his friends, or he is very vain!

Day 29~The Stockings Were Hung

 

To help mom get into the decorating spirit, Percy hung the stockings by the fireplace and then placed himself inside.  I hope he wasn't looking for anything to eat, because all the goodies are with Santa, waiting to be dropped off in seven days!

 

Day 28~T'was the week before Christmas

 

Tonight I found Percy reading T'was the Night Before Christmas, and he reminded me that it is only a week away!  I can't believe how fast this year is going, and soon Percy will be gone for the next 10 and  a half months!

Day 27~Ice Cream Bandit

 

I noticed this morning that some of my new favorite Toft's ice cream was missing and that the freezer was rearranged.  Tonight, I caught the ice cream bandit in action with his spoon in hand!  Back off of momma's ice cream!

Day 26~North Pole Flu?!

 

Looks like someone brought the flu into our house.  Percy came flying in with horrible cough, runny nose and the worse case of the Elf poops I have every seen.  Hopefully some throat spray and cough medicine will help him feel better!

 

Day 25~Creeping for Himself Online

 

I fear Percy may have a problem with how awesome he thinks he is.  I put Robert down for a nap, and when I came down I found Percy looking at his blog.  He quickly moved to the screen and says, I look good on here!  Silly Elf!!!

Day 24~Revenge is Sweet (and puffy)

 

I knew something was going to happen after Percy's date with Jesse, but I had no idea I would be walking into an all out marshmallow snowball fight.  Buzz really had it in for Percy, and even recruited Woody to help the cause.  Thank goodness marshmallows are easy to pick up!

Day 23~Ice, Ice Baby!

 

Tonight as I went to get ice out of the freezer, I found someone either going in or out!  He must miss the cold, because there is no other reason to go in there right?  I just hope he is not sneaking popcicles to Robert in the middle of the night!

 

Day 22~Date Night, Wagon Style

 

Percy seems to fancy Miss Jesse, because tonight I found him hanging out with her in a wagon pulled by Bullseye!  They sure do look cozy here, but Percy better be careful, because I hear Buzz can be a jealous man!

Day 21~Caught in the Act

 

It looks like our little hound dog caught something in his trap this morning.  He said all of this running around the house at night has been leaving the other toys with sleepless nights, and they didn't like it.  Guess this keeps him quiet for a night, and he better be quieter when he is doing his thing until Christmas!

Day 20~Time to finish decorating?

 

Percy must not like that we have not finished decorating our house for Christmas, because we just found him wrapped up in lights and surrounded by ornaments to be used on the tree.  Granted, he is really cute and is right that we need to get done, but jeez, a little pushy arn't we?!

 



Day 19~Sun of a Beach

Percy must really dislike the Ohio weather we have been having lately.  I found him sunbathing under the computer light with a towel, sunblock, beach ball and inner tube.  We all want to hang out at the beach, but doesn't he have work to do until Christmas?

 



Day 18~Future Artist?

 

The past couple of days Robert and his mom have been doing Christmas art projects to give as gifts to people this year.  Apparently Percy was upset that he has not joined in the fun and got into the art supplies last night.  The good thing is Robert must be doing good to get a note like this!!!

Day 17~Shopping for Goodies

 

This elf of ours is telling us one of two things: #1 Mom needs to go grocery shopping or #2 Percy thinks Robert does not have enough goodies in the house.  He managed to fill the shopping cart up with some of Robert's favorite things: juice, popcicles, popcorn, donuts, fruit snacks, and cookies.  That or Percy has the munchies...

 

 



Day 16~It's A Marshmallow World

 

Percy found some new friends from the DreamWorks studio and decided to have a small campfire on our table to roast marshmallows.  Po and Shrek seemed to enjoy this new found friend, but I think the ghost stories may have been a little too much in the middle of the night.  This family does not like screaming from scaredy cats!

Day 15~Picture for Santa

 

 

When the first thing you see when you come downstairs is a picture of Percy and him sitting on the scanner, you have to worry.  He originally said he took one of his butt, but it the scanner made it look too big, so he thought he would lay down and make a nice one for Santa.  Silly elf, but he sure does look proud!

 

 



Day 14~Checking out the Northern Lights!

 

Percy must not like when we go away and do something as a family, because today as we were leaving the Lights Before Christmas at the Toledo Zoo, I spotted a little someone hiding on the sign.  He has been listening to Robert "ooohhh" over the lights and he wanted to see more than a million of them for himself.  I just hope he is glad we gave him a ride back home!!!

 

 

Day 13~Missing the Claus

 

Either someone is missing Mr. Claus or he is really jealous that Robert was playing with his mom's Santa decorations.  When picking up the house tonight, mom realized a Santa was missing, and she found him with Percy on the shelf talking away.  Wait until he sees everything else she has in store for the house for Christmas!

 

Day 12~Gliding with Style!

Percy must really be missing the North Pole during the day, because we came home to him zip lining from the tree to the village that is set up.  He said he just wanted to remind us to send Robert's letter to Santa, but as I walked away, I heard him talking to the elves that were decorating the Christmas tree.
