Day 11~A Buddy Breakfast

 

Percy was all excited when he came back home today.  He said he had run into Buddy the Elf and they had talked about the nutritious foods that the eat at the North Pole.  Sure enough, Percy made Robert the Buddy Special with marshmallows, Pop Tarts, and spaghetti and to top it off, syrup.  Percy says everything tastes better with syrup on top!

Day 10~I Can See You Great From Up Here!

 

This afternoon, Percy came bouncing back into the house and managed to get himself stuck up in the ceiling fan.  He sure does know how to get Robert going, because this really put him out of reach.  He said the weather and view were great from there and appreciated that I had just cleaned the fan blades last week.  I did threaten to turn the fan on, but he said he would tell Santa on me!  Oh, Percy!

Day 9~Come On Big Money!

 

Percy managed to sneak back into our house tonight with a lottery ticket for the Mega Millions drawing for nearly half a billion dollars.  He said he was good luch and was going to make it "rain up in here".  Next thing I know he pulls out some money and really makes it rain!  Let's hope this elf is a good luck one too and that he helps us win some money!!!

 

 



Day 8~Book of the Month Club

 

Well look at who we have here tonight!  Percy wanted to make some new friends, and figured the best way would be to read one of Robert's favorite tractor books.  Notice Percy even found a modern version of his blue tractor in this book!  Glad it was not green and that so many friends came over to meet him!

 

Day 7~Remote Control

 

Percy knows how much Robert loves the television remotes, so he thought it would be funny to take control of the TV today.  I told him sitting on the counter would allow Robert to get the remote, so he moved to higher ground, on top of the TV.  Robert was very excited to find Percy, but not once he saw that he had the remote!  Oh, Percy!!!

 

Day 6~Don't Mess with Thomas and his Friends

 

When Percy came home from his little sneek away with the family, he knew he was in trouble.  While driving around the playroom to see if Robet had picked up his toys, Thomas and his Freinds began to circle him.  They were not happy he got to go and they didn't, so now they have him surrounded and with no way out!

Day 5~Ready for a Swim

 

Percy knows how much Robert loves to swim, and so it was not real surprise when we found him by the pool, scoping out the facilities.  I think he was up to looking at a little more, but he said the water was fine and not too cold.  The water was freezing, but Robert swam for a half hour anyways!

 

 

Day 4~Stow Away!

 

Over the weekend, Percy's family went on vacation to Michigan, and when they got to their hotel for the night, his mom found him hiding out in their suitcase.  She was very surprised, but Robert was really excited to see him.  She told him that he would have to stay in the suitcase to sleep, and he better not take off and cause any trouble! 

 



Day 3~Mmmm...Birthday Cake!

 

Percy caught wind that Robert's moms birthday is tomorrow and that her boss made her a really nice cake.  When his mom came down stairs, she found that he had eaten half of the cake, and the evidence was all over his face!  Someone is in big trouble, but maybe she should have fed him!!!!

Percy's Hangout Spot

 

With Percy now in our house to watch Robert, mom told him to find a place to hang out so she could keep an eye on him.  He chose the wreath on the pantry door, since it had a nice view and he is out of Robert's reach.  Mom likes him here so she can watch the trouble he tries to get into!

Day 2~He Thinks His Tractor Is Sexy

 

Tonight when Percy tried rolling in, he was on a John Deere tractor.  We stopped him at the door, and said no way, green does not belong in this house.  He left and came back on a blue Ford, which he said he found at Grandpa Kline's house!  He giggled and smiled at us, but became worried when the band of RED started circling.  He better hope Robert finds him early tomorrow!!!!

 

 

 

Day 1~Rub-A-Dub-Dub, Bubbles in the tub!

Tonight is the first night that Percy, our family Elf on a Shelf, has made his visit to the Fought household.  He told me he knows how much Robert likes to play in the sink and in the tub for bath, and that he needed one too after his long trip.  He was also impressed with the freshly painted ceilings in the bathroom!
